Happy 2024! 2023 was a busy one for Powerhouse – we played a couple of big festivals (Whitby and Towersey), played lots of other public and private gigs and recorded our second EP! After a well-deserved rest over the Christmas period we’re back practising and looking forward to what 2024 will bring.

Our second EP ‘Expansion Pack’ is currently being mixed and we can’t wait to share it with you. After covid scuppered our EP launch plans for our previous one, we’re exciting to have a date and venue sorted, so check out our Events page for more details. We’ve already got a folk festival booking which we’ll share with you soon, plus some more private events already in the diary.

We’ve started working on some new material as well, with lots of other potential ideas in the pipeline (too many tunes and riffs, too little time!), so keep your ears open for future announcements.

Our website has had a bit of an upgrade as well with a new FAQ section for useful info you might need before booking a ceilidh for your event, but please do drop us a line via our contact page if there’s anything else you need to know!
